This year, the event is changed a little bit. As we are the Kobe H3, the event will take place in Kobe, from JR Motomachi. We will meet at 2:00 p.m. (no early run this year, woohoo!), and the run will start from 2:30. After the run and circle, we will go to a nearby sento, before going to Braziliano in Mosaic Harboland for a MMEEEEEEAAAAATTTT fest. Bring your loosest pants and belt! Run #1483, 5th December. Al-kanida throws flour loops around Tozai Ebie/Hanshin Noda tonight. Meet outside the north exit of Noda Station.

Run #1484, 12th December. With hare- and pack-knackering hangovers abounding after the KH3 Bonenkai, we’ll have a Katch Hare from JR Nishinomiya. Meet next to the central exit of the station.

Run #1485, 19th December. JR Settsu-motoyama. Crash Mama will no doubt tease the pack once again with copious up-mountain CBs! Meet in the park next to the south exit of the station.

Run #1486, 26th December. Boxing Day Run. Time to run off that hangover and excess of turkey. Bunter takes a break from his favourite location and invites the pack to JR Koshienguchi. Meet in front of the south exit of the station.

Run #1479, 7th November. Al-kanida noticed KH3 hasn’t run from JR Rokkomichi in all his time here. Today he fixes that! Meet in front of the north exit of the station.

Run #1480, 14th November. Apparently sated by his wanderings to stations elsewhere, Bunter returns the pack to his regular haring ground… JR Ashiya! Meet on the pedestrian walkway to the north exit of the station.

Run #1481, 21st November. Beerhead invites the pack to trot around Hankyu Oji Koen. Meet at the west exit of the station.

Run #1482, 28th November. Slimie Limie reckons the pack might like a couple of pints of Guinness at an On-On-In in Capall Uisce, Hankyu Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi. Yes? Meet in the park opposite the north-west exit of the station.

Run #97, 26th November. Meet at 6:00 pm. Join Ebola at JR Osaka-jo Koen-mae, northwest exit. Says Ebola: A short (40-50 min.) run through the business park and the castle park, a sort of time travel through the new & old of Osaka. On-In at Kyobashi.

Run #1474, 3rd October. Slimie Limie has convinced himself there's another trail to be had at JR Tsukamoto. Or not? Meet in the park opposite the south exit of the station.

Run #1475, 10th October. 3 pm meeting! Yopparai Unten invites us to drink in his car at JR Kobe on this national holiday Monday. Meet next to the coin lockers inside the north west exit of the station.

Run #1476, 17th October. Bunter boxes out a new venue for him, JR Sumiyoshi. (Clip yer claws, Slimie, his last few trails have been good!) Meet in the park opposite the south exit of the station.

Run #1477, 24th October. Beerhead invades the gardens around Hankyu Nikawa. Meet to the east of the station.

Run #1478, 31st October. Hallowe’en Fancy Dress Run! New to KH3 but seasoned hashers Speedy Peedy and Lubricunt show a fancily dressed pack their fancy moves at Hankyu Sannomiya! Down-Down for most scarily dressed hasher! (Course, some might win that with ordinary clothes on—or off…) Water Down-Down for any miserable bastard who can’t be arsed to dress fancy! Meet at Concrete Park next to the north east exit of the station.

Run #96, 22nd October. Slimie Limie encourages connoisseurs of ale in the pack to come to Yotsubashi line Higobashi Station. Why? Real Ale On-On-In (Place is too small and service too slow to have the On-In there!) at Beer Belly! This ale is brewed in Mino, hand drawn on a traditional pump, and served in pints! Oh, and there’ll be a sub-50-minute run before, should anyone be interested… Meet at street level in front of exit 2 of the station.

Saturday 17th to Sunday 18th September, Sumoto Beach. (Some will stay another night because Monday 19th is a national holiday.) Meet at 2 pm for 2:30 start. Hares: the Joint Masters. Bring a tent and a sleeping bag, the hash will supply a BBQ and enough beer to float everyone's boat. To get there, either cadge a ride from a hasher with wheels or take a ferry or bus to Sumoto station. From the dock or the station, walk to the far end of the beach. We'll be under the trees next to the picnic area.

Run #1470, 5th September. Fresh back from summer in blighty (that's rust, not sun tan), Beerhead sets a one-way run from his old stomping ground, Hankyu Koyoen, to Hankyu Nishinomiya-kitaguchi. Meet outside the exit of the station. Don't be late unless you want to run with your bag!

Run #1471, 12th September. Says Al-kanida: "I've Katch-hared from JR Ashiya many times, but never hared from there." Today he fixes that! Meet on the 2nd floor pedestrian walkway to the north of the station.

Run #1472, 19th September. Some survivors of the 2005 Awaji camp hash will be staggering back to civilization on this national holiday Monday. So let's keep things easy for them and have a Katch Hare from Hankyu Umeda! Meet at 3 pm next to the BigMan screen.

Run #1473, 26th September. Beerhead sets a one-way run from his old stomping ground, Hankyu Koyoen, to Hankyu Nishinomiya-kitaguchi. Meet outside the exit of the station. Don't be late unless you want to run with your bag!

Run #95, Saturday 24th September, Held over from last month, let's try again in September. Meet at Hankyu Nakatsu at 6:00 for a standard 50 minute run, followed by a BBQ on the banks of the Yodo. Hare: Beerhead.

Before setting off to Canada, the terrorist-infested playground of the world, Al-kanida will hare from JR Fukushima (Loop Line, one stop from Osaka). Meet at the weird art sculpture (is there any bomb inside?) outside the Hanshin Hotel. Be there or in Guantanamo!

Run #1466, 8th August. Crash Mama invites the pack to JR Settsu Motoyama to celebrates the ??th anniversary of her turning 20. Follow the blaze from the candles on her birthday cake to the south exit of the station.

Run #1467, 15th August. Slimie Limie hopes to entice the pack to Minamimorimachi on the Sakaisuji, Tanimachi subway lines and Osakatenmangu on the JR Tozai line (enough ways of getting there for ya?). Meet at exit 3 of the subway station next to the Resona bank.

Run #1468, 22th August. Katch Hare at JR Ashiya. Meet on the 2nd floor pedestrian walkway to the north of the station.

Run #1469, 29th August. Pollution puts down wet flour from Hankyu/Hanshin Imazu. Meet at the south exit of Hanshin station.

Run #1461, 4th July. No Septics in the Pack these days, so half-way-there Al-kanida steps in to celebrate the Independence of Hanshin Amagasaki. Fireworks optional; no tea abuse allowed. Follow arrows to the start from the exit of the station.

Run #1462, 11th July. Bunter takes us fellows on a jolly good pie chase from JR Kashima on the Tozai line. Meet outside the exit of the station.

Run #1463, 18th July. Beerhead lays trail from JR Tenma station (Loop line, one stop from Osaka). If the weather is fine this will be a one way run to Kirin World beer garden. If not then an A to A and a fine izakaya. This is a holiday so 3:00 pm start.

Run #94, Saturday 30th July, Dog Fucked makes his first appearance on the Osaka Hash in style - he's haring it. Meet at JR Senrioka (Kyoto line) at 6:00 pm.

Gispert Day Run, Sunday 31st July. Meet at Hankyu Nishinomiya-kitaguchi at 2:00 pm for a one way run to Koroen Beach where the Joint Masters will lay on a BBQ. "G" Gispert was one of the founders of the very first Hash House Harriers, in Kuala Lumpur in 1938. See this page.

Run #1448, 4th April. Fresh from hash marriage just three weeks ago, a possibly knackered Mr. and Mrs. CU hobble around Kobe in search of gyoza. Follow arrows to CU's hairdressing salon from Hankyu Shinkaichi Station exit 6.

Run #1449, 11th April. Al-kanida spreads terror in the south around Hanshin Daimotsu, possibly a new venue? Meet near the exit of the station.

Run #1450, 18th April. A while since we've had a Katch Hare, so let's have one tonight from JR Ashiya. Meet on the 2nd floor pedestrian walkway to the north of the station.

Run #1451, 25th April. Determined to get the Pack across that river, Beerhead returns to Hankyu Mukonoso. Perhaps we will, if it's not a tree-infested torrent, or scant degrees above zero! [Wimps! Ed.] Meet in the park opposite the south exit of the station.

Run #90, March 26, 6:00 pm. Hanami Run. Join Slimie Limie for a trot through the cherry blossoms then BBQ on the riverbank. From Sakuranomiya (JR Loop Line) take the South East exit, follow arrows towards the bridge (but not over it!) to a spot on the riverbank.

Run #1446, 21st March. The KH3 2005 Sakura Run! A little early perhaps, but with both this year's Joint Masters busy on Saturdays the National Holiday Monday was too convenient to miss! A flower trail from Kurakuen-guchi on the Hankyu Koyoen line (one stop north from Shukugawa) will be followed by a BBQ and lots of beer! Meet in the park to the west of the station at 11:00 am.

Run #1447, 28st March. The return of Bird Fucker! Well, he hasn't been anywhere, just helping raise the next generation of hashers! (Between raising cans of beer. Some things don't change.) Join him at JR Nishinomiya, can't remember which exit.

The 2004 KH3 Bonenkai run will be on Sunday 12th December. A short run (it is the morning after Saturday, after all) from JR Loop-line/Keihan Kyobashi to a sento followed by an all-you-can-drink champagne, all-you-can-eat lunch at Trader Vic's in the New Otani. Hash Heaven for 5,000 yen. Meet in the square between stations at 9 am for a 9:30 am sharp start. Hares: the Joint Masters Urinator and Beerhead. We need to know how many hundred of you plan to cum, so see Slimie Limie for sign-up sheet. Run #1425, 25 October. Hello Pussy steps forward to hare for the second time this month! Got to be a record for KH3 of late. This time it's from Hankyu/JR Sannomiya. Meet at Concrete (Oppai) Park, to the north east of Hankyu station.

Don't miss KH3's favourite hash outing. Put up your tent at the far end of the beach in Sumoto on Awaji island for a long weekend of beer, BBQ, and partying. Oh, and there might be some running involved too.
Meet at 2:00 pm at the bus station in Sumoto on Awaji island. We are having a change this year and are having a one way run to the beach. The run will start by catching a bus at 2:20, so DON'T BE LATE! We will take your gear to the camp by car.
If you arrive early make your way to the camp at the far end of Sumoto beach and we will give you a lift to the bus station.
If you are coming from Osaka there is a bus at 12:00 from the bus station under Hankyu Umeda station. This should get to Sumoto by 2:00 pm.
If you don't have any camping gear don't worry, there will be spare tent(s). Some of us are planning to stay till Monday so feel free to drop by Sunday if you can't make it on Saturday. Hopefully one of us will be sober enough to set a hangover run Sunday.

Run #1418, 6 September. Al-Kanida will set trail from JR Nishinomiya. Haven't run there in a while, so should be some new sights for the pack. Meet under the station outside the main exit, south side.

Run #1419, 13 September. Beerhead will make a second assault on Hankyu Mukonoso, hoping more than two hounds will show up to appreciate his efforts this time. C'mon, everybody, you're long back from your summer holidays, no excuses! Meet in the park opposite the south exit of the station.

Run #1391, 1st March, Hankyu Oji-Koen, Beerhead. Fresh from running the Osaka HHH and haring the KLYT H3 back-to-back, the KH3 Joint Master hares once more! Will we see the sea or mount the mountain?

Run #1392, 8th March, Hankyu Sonoda, Slimie Limie. Serenade the local coppers in the Circle next to the police box, then On-In at the one-room izakaya where the pack are the local entertainment! Oh, and Slimie might take you to the boneyard or the airport before then (no, he doesn't know which yet, either).

Run #1393, 15 March, JR Ashiya, Sukebe. A popular haring location of late that offers sea, rivers and hills. Which will it be? Surely not all three!

Run #1394, 22 March, JR Sumiyoshi, Al-kanida. So far this is the predicted Best Date for Sakura this season. Al-kanida steps in to hare this time as Yoppari can't make it.

Run #1395, 29 March, Hankyu Rokko, Yopparai Unten. Yopparai can make it this week so come and see where he takes us to admire more cherry blossom while sharing his favourite pastime--getting yopparai!

Join Slimie Limie for a yomp around the badlands near Osaka Port, followed by an eye-opening On-In at the sukebe izakaya. Is there pussy on the menu? Yes, and willy, too!

Run #1383, January 5, We start the year with a Catch Hare from JR Ashiya. Meet in the usual place on the north side of the station. Come and burn off some of those Shogatsu calories (and then put them back on again in the circle and at the On-In).

Run #1384, January 12, Newly appointed Religious Adviser, Al-Kanida sets a holiday trail from JR Rokkomichi. Line up for your down downs. Meet at 3p.m.

Run #1385, January 19, Our new Joint Master, Beerhead shows us the pretty sights around Hankyu Nakatsu.

Run #1386, January 26, Not to be outdone, the other new Joint Master (or should that be Mistress?) Urinator makes her inaugural course as mistress from Hankyu Kanzaki-gawa. Anyone like to guess what colour the marking will be?

Run #76 January 31st, 6:00 pm. Join newly renamed Boss Hog at Hankyu Juso for what he promises will be an interesting virgin run.

This year will be a joint run with the Kobe and Osaka hashes. As usual we will go for a morning run followed by a sento and then head for Trader Vic's for a slap up, all you can eat, all you can drink, champagne brunch. Meet at Kyobashi, between the JR and Keihan stations at 9:00 am for a 9:30 start. The run will be one way to a sento. If you skip the run meet at Trader Vic's in the New Otani Hotel at 12:30.

Run #1378, December 1, Bird Fucker takes us round his home patch at Hankyu Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi. Meet in the park by the North-West exit.

Run #1379, December 8, It's time to say goodbye to Dr.Bin Lang and Noose, before they head off back to Taiwan. Dr. Bin Lang sets his Sayonnara hash from Hankyu Ikeda, on the Hankyu Takarazuka line. I'm informed it takes less than 15 minutes from Juso (on the express) so get yourselves along..

Run #1380, December 15, After over-indulging at the Bonenkai on Sunday, what better way to spend Monday night than with Bunter who will make a course from Hankyu Juso. I don't imagine it'll be long (!) so there's no excuse not to come.

Run #1381, December 22, Our illustrious Japanese JM, Yopparai Unten makes up for his absence from the Bonnenkai by setting a course from Sannomiya. Meet in the concrete park opposite McDonalds (on the north side of both the Hankyu and JR stations.)

Run #1382, December 29. Al-kanida writes: I know the information for the Dec 29th hash has already been sent and/or posted on the web site, but please note that it has changed (sorry Beerhead...). Instead of an evening run from Sumiyoshi, the run will take place in the afternoon, meeting at 3pm, start at 3:30, from JR Itamikita station. It will be an A-B run (I'll stuff the bags in a taxi to Home). After the circle, the On-In will take place at the Itami Brewery restaurant. Therefore, a notice of your presence is mandatory to come to the ON IN as a reservation needs to be made. Run #1374, November 3, Bunter and Yopparai Unten set this holiday hash from Hanshin Ishiyagawa. I hear rumours there may be a barbecue (and if there's one person who knows how to do a good barbecue, it's Yopparai), so get yourself along. Meet at 3 p.m.

Run #1375, November 10, CU lays trail from Hankyu Shinkaichi, West Exit. We start from his barber's shop, so follow the arrows from the exit. Hopefully, it won't turn out to be a ball-buster!!

Run #1376, November 17, Beerhead throws the flour around from Hankyu Nakatsu. Come and see him on his home ground!

Run #1377, November 24, It's another holiday run and this time, your host is Al-Kanida, who will lead you astray from Hankyu Mukonoso. Get yourselves out of bed and get down there for 3 p.m.

Run #74, November 29. Join Mad Manx in the beautiful mountaina of Mino and run with the monkeys (no I don't mean the hashers!). As this this is a very scenic area we want to see it so we will meet at 3:00 pm at Hankyu Mino station.

Run #1370, October 6, A special hash today. Sukebe sets his Kanreki (60th birthday celebration) run from JR Konan-Yamate. This promises to be a great hash - is that sausages I can smell?!

Run #1371, October 13, 3.00p.m. Dr Bin Lang lays the trail from the little-used venue of Hankyu Kiyoshi-Kojin (the stop before Takarazuka on the Takarazuka line from Umeda.) This is a holiday hash, so note the early start!

Run #1372, October 20, Urinator shows us the sights in Hankyu Kanzaki-gawa (the stop next to Juso on the Hankyu Kobe line). Let's hope Urinator brings out those hariettes with her!

Run #1373, October 27, Slimie Limie does his funky stuff from JR Tachibana. Its Halloween so put on your scariest costume or suffer the consequences. Pollution, your regular shorts will do fine.

Saturday 2nd August - 1st Gisperts Birthday Run and KH3 25th Anniversary, hared by the Joint Masters from Futatabi. Meet at 11.00, run starts at 11.30. The best bus to catch from Sannomiya (number 25) leaves from the south side of JR Sannomiya station at 10:15. (For more details see the June e-Trash.)

Saturday, Sunday (and Monday?!) 13th, 14th (and 15th) September - It's the annual KH3 camp on Awaji Island. More details to follow. Watch this space. Osaka Hash House Harriers

Run # 73 Saturday 27th September, 6:00 pm. Join no-name Doug as he sets his virgin run, ably assited by Al-kanida from Tennoji. Meet on the footbridges between the JR and Keihan stations.

Run #1365 September 1st - Bunter returns to one of his favourite haunts, JR Ashiya. He says "No umbrellas necessary". Come and judge for yourself.

Run #1366 September 8th - The ever-willing Pollution sets a trail from Hanshin Imazu.

Run # 1367 September 15th - At the moment this is scheduled to be a Catch Hare from Sannomiya concrete park, to let us recover from the Awaji Weekend, but this could yet change (any volunteers?). Anyway, it's a holiday, so we meet at 3:00 pm.

Run #1361 August 4th - 'Hisashiburi' haring by CU, who makes a course from his barber's shop, near Shinkaichi station on the Hankyu line. Follow the arrows from the West exit (the one with the illuminated steps).

Run #1362 August 11th - Crash Mama is 21 again (!) and sets a birthday run from JR Settsu-Motoyama, south exit. The On-In will be at her house.

Run #1363 August 18th - Urinator sprays (or was that lays?) the trail from JR Amagasaki, south exit (?).

Run #1364 August 25th - The Catch Hare returns. Meet at JR Kobe next to the luggage lockers.

Run #71 Saturday 30th August, 4:00 pm. Join Al-Kanida for his first hare for the Osaka Hash.

Al-Kanida writes: Fellow Hashers and Hariettes, for next Saturday Hash, the Hareline will be situated in a park between all 3 Fukushima stations (JR Loop, JR Tozai, Hanshin). To know the location, just look at this link. By popular demand, the On In will be held at a beer garden. We went to Kirin World last Osaka Hash. It was good to me (especially the black beer), let's go there again.

Run #1360 July 28th - Refugee from darkest Nagoya, Al Kaneda, makes his debut as hare for Kobe from Hankyu Juso. Meet outside the East Exit.

Run #70 July 26th, 6:00 pm. - Canon Will says 'sayonara' to Osaka Hash from Kita-hama, Sakaisuji subway, meet outside Mitsukoshi Dept Store.

Run #1352 June 2nd - Mad Manx lays the trail from his favourite venue, Hanshin Himejima.

Run #1353 June 9th - Bunter's Revenge Run from JR Sumiyoshi. After having a grand total of zero runners the last time he made a course from here, Bunter thirsts for revenge. Be there (and run this time!)

Run #1354 June 16th - The Catch Hare returns. Meet at JR Kobe, by the luggage lockers. The On-In will, as always, feature the best gyozas in Japan, if not the world!

Run #1351 May 26th Bird Fucker despares of finding hares and so lays the trail himself from JR Nishinomiya. South Exit, I think (it's the side the airport bus goes from and the side with McDonalds on.)

Mad Manx lays the trail from Tennoji station. Should be good.

Run #1344 April 7th Beerhead at Hankyu Shukugawa. Main exit.

Run #1345 April 14th Bunter at Hankyu Juso. Meet at the usual exit (on the side the Kyoto trains come in on).

Run #1346 April 21st, Mother Duck from Hankyu Awaji, on the Kyoto line. (The same exit as last time, I think.) Mother Duck's off to Australia at the end of May, so this may be her last time as a Kobe hare.

Run #1347 April 28th, Dr. Binlang lays his first trail for KH3 from Umeda. Meet at Big Man in Hankyu Umeda station.

Run #1339 March 3rd. Uh oh! Lock up your fish heads; its Rugged Hare Pollution from Hanshin Nishinomiya, South Side. Admire the art and nature, see the glory of a traditional Japanese thatched roof, see what happens when you mix beer and syrup etc, etc.

Run #1340 March 10th. Desert Hasher Hedgehog lays down the law in the Urban Jungle. JR Kobe.

Run #1341 March 17th. Bird Fucker chooses the middle ground at Hankyu Okamoto. Follow the arrows from the main exit. Our hare will be wanting to get on the nest tonight, so expect a stunning trail that provokes as few down-downs as possible.

Run #1342 March 24th. The ever-dependable CU returns to hare from his barber's shop in Shinkaichi (Hankyu and Hanshin). Follow arrows from the West Exit. Go up the steps next to the supermarket and 100 Yen shop.

Run #1343 March 31st. And what better way to end the month than with a Catch Hare. This time we're meeting at JR Ashiya for a change.

Follow the arrows from Midosuji Namba Stn, exit 25, where Geezer will take you on a tour of the cherry blossoms. Usual night on the town to follow. Be there, big city folk!

Run #1335 February 3rd, Catch Hare from Sannomiya's Concrete Park, opposite McDonalds. Meet at the concrete park between JR and Hankyu lines for some winter warming hashing. This time Hedgehog cannot suss the course, but watch out for Slimie lurking in the bushes.

Run #1336 February 10th, Bunter from JR Sumiyoshi. South side exit. The hash hit sake land. Bunter leads us on a teasing cruise that could end all square.

Run #1337 February 17th, Urinator from JR Tsukamoto. Urinator suffers the JR toilet experience for the benefit of the hash. Meet at the liitle park near the South Exit. Turn right after the wicket and cross the road.

Run #1338 February 24th, Our hairiest hare, Slimie Limie, from Hankyu Awaji. Take the Hankyu Kyoto line from Juso if you're coming from Kobe. Anyone coming from Juso direction take the left hand exit, nearest McDonalds; we think that is West.

Run #1331 January 6th, Everyone's obviously intending to start the year very hungover, as no one volunteered for this one. So it's a Catch Hare. Meet at JR Kobe

Run #1332 January 13th, Bird Fucker invites you all to Hankyu Mukonoso for today's holiday run. Meet at 3 p.m.

Run #1333 January 20th, Mad Manx moves away from his usual hunting ground to set a course from Fukushima on the JR Loop Line. (Also Hanshin and JR Tozai Lines.)

The Run Formerly Known as Futatabi, will be held on 2nd January on the banks of the Ishiyagawa which is somewhere near Hanshin Mikage. Ask/follow arrows. Hares: Bunter and a WNRCer. Meet at 11 am.

Run #1322 November 18th, No-one stepped into the breach, so no-one is the hare tonight. Seems like time for another Catch Hare from Sannomiya. Meet at the 'concrete park' by the Hankyu station.

Run #1322 November 25th, It's been a long wait but Sukebe will again be hosting a BBQ party at his main house in Okamoto. One way run from JR Konan Yamate. I can already taste those unrivalled sausages. Drool, slaver.

It's time to party, party, party once again as we gather to camp on the beach, run about a bit, swim in the clean water, BBQ and drink lots of beer. Meet at the camp at the far end of the beach at Sumoto. You can still get ferries to Tsuna, I think, and then a bus. But most of us take the new bridge. Hankyu Minamigata, 1 stop from Juso, is also OK. Meet at the north side, nearest ShinOsaka.
